Donald Trump again railed against Hillary Clinton and called her “one of the greatest liars of all time” yesterday in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“Hillary Clinton never tells the truth. One lie after another, and getting worse each passing day,” Mr Trump said in a broadly appealing speech.
Although the Republican presidential nominee expressed regret to North Carolinians for causing “personal pain” when using incorrect words or saying “the wrong thing”, Mr Trump campaign rally at the Convention Centre in Charlotte was focused on attacking and railing against his rival.
“The American people are still waiting for Hillary Clinton to apologise for all of the many lies she’s told to them, and the many times she’s betrayed them”, he said.
The real estate magnate said to a supportive crowd that Mrs Clinton owns an apology to the American people for lying on the email scandal and for “her decisions that have led to so much death, destruction and terrorism”.
“Has Hillary Clinton ever apologised for lying about her illegal email server and deleting 33,000 emails? Has she apologised for lying to the families who lost loved ones at Benghazi, and for unleashing ISIS across the world?” Mr Trump remarked and added he will never lie to the US citizens.
‘Clinton was a disaster as Secretary of State’
An enthusiastic and eager Trump called Mrs Clinton “a disaster” as Secretary of State –between 2009 and 2013– and pointed out in his 44-minute speech that the former Senator owes the State of North Carolina “a very big apology”.
“Your city of Charlotte has lost 1 in 4 manufacturing jobs since China joined the WTO, and many of these jobs were lost while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State – our chief diplomat with China. She was a disaster, totally unfit for the job”.
Mr Trump added emphatically that Hillary Clinton “has supported all of the major trade deals that have stripped this country of its jobs and its wealth” and called her the America’s Angela Merkel for her plan on bringing around 620,000 refugees from all refugee-sending nations.
“My opponent wants a 550 per cent increase in Syrian refugees even more that already pouring into our country under President Obama. Think of that. What are we doing”.
Destroying terrorism and treat all Americans equally
Donald Trump has set seven proposals that will implement quickly if he is elected the 45th President of the United States. The Republican candidate emphasised in fighting and destroying ISIS, and extreme vetting for all applicants who, according to him, “have ties to radical ideology”.
“I have a message for the terrorists trying to kill our citizens. We will find you and will destroy you”.
Mr Trump — who called himself ‘the champion for the people’– also claimed that his administration would treat every American – including Hispanics and African Americans—equally and would reject bigotry and oppression.
“Every American will be treated equally, protected equally and honoured equally. This is the change I am promising to all of you. No one will be above the law”, he said.
